Some days I wish I had Forrest Gump’s single minded focus.
Business is a very simple concept: Sell a product or service at a profit that people will buy in sufficient quantities to meet your goals.
What can be more simple? Nothing! That is if you’re Forrest Gump.
Remember in the movie when Forrest learned to how to play ping pong? He was told to “keep your eye on the ball” which he did to the exclusion of everything else becoming quite a successful ping pong player.
In business, the ball is sales. Keeping your eye on the ball is essential to your success in business.

- You gotta love what you sell.
- If you won’t sell, hire or partner with someone who will.
